INTRODUCTION TO DESIGN EDITS
The Design Edits translate Studio Tolcher’s approach into a curated collection of interior concepts, created specifically for holiday homes.
Each Edit is shaped around how a space is experienced – how guests arrive, settle, gather and unwind- bringing together atmosphere, materiality and layout into a clear, cohesive direction.
They are designed to offer clarity where it’s often missing, allowing you to move forward with confidence while maintaining a considered and elevated outcome.
WHAT THEY INCLUDE
Each Design Edit is delivered as a complete, ready-to-implement, room-by-room concept giving you the option to select a single room, multiple rooms or an entire property. For each room you will receive:
- A defined design direction and concept mood board, which establishes the overall look and feel of the space.
- A full set of 3D renders, which illustrates the scheme in practice. Although there is a certain amount of flexibility within each Edit- these allow you to visualise how the scheme could potentially look in your own property.
- A curated material and colour palette, outlining a selection of finishes, fabrics and colours- designed to create depth, consistency and longevity across the home.
- Layout guidance, including furniture placement and scale. This includes sizing guidelines for sofas and rugs to best suit the size of the room.
- Furniture, lighting and styling selections. This includes a selection of carefully chosen pieces of furniture, lighting & accessories, along with strategies on how best to layer these pieces to create an atmosphere that feels effortless.
- Supporting drawings and implementation notes. This includes generic floorplans & wall elevations, along with detailed notes allowing for a straightforward execution of the scheme.
- A curated sourcing guide with purchase links for all the pieces specified, allowing you to bring the scheme together with clarity and ease.
Optional support is also available for procurement, installation and final styling.
THE FIRST EDIT- GROUNDED
Grounded is the first of the Design Edits to be released.
Rooted in natural materials and a warm, earth-led palette, it creates spaces that feel calm, tactile and quietly elevated. Soft layers, sun-worn tones and aged textures come together to form an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and considered.
Grounded moves away from predictable styling, instead introducing depth, warmth and a sense of permanence within the home.
It is an approach that feels instinctive to live within and memorable to return to.
